When I started practicing yoga I had no idea how much it would change my life. I began a regular yoga practice because I was anxious, angry, and let's be real, tired of the gym. Those human emotions still resurface, as they should every now and then. But yoga has helped me work with them and not be afraid of them. Yoga allows us to honor all parts of ourselves, the serious side and my personal favorite, the playful side. I want all yogis to step out of my class and feel that they were able to tap into both.
I took Yoga Shelter's teacher training in the Spring of 2016. Since then, I've been inspired to continue my education by taking Yoga Medics Therapeutic 200 Hour Teacher Training in Fall of 2017. In Spring 2017, I became the Royal Oak Studio Manager. Since then, I've put my heart and soul into making the studio a home away from home for our amazing community of yogis.
